Someone once told me, “there is no future without a plan.” Those words have stuck with me through the years and I think about them every time I sit down with a new client.

The short answer is maybe. My clients are teachers, doctors, utility linemen, small business owners and retirees. The one thing we all have in common is we’re passionate about putting a plan in place to get to retirement. My value as a financial advisor is creating that plan and using our time-tested process to help you get there.

1. Questions. I ask a bunch of ’em. Current financial situation, risk tolerance, goals, dreams. All of that stuff. I need a clear picture of where you are before I can put a plan together to help get you where you’d like to be.
2. The real work starts. No two clients are exactly alike. I’ll meet with our team and we’ll put together a plan based on your idea of retirement, not ours.
3. Plan review. We’ll go over the plan in detail, making sure you understand everything. I’ll answer any questions you might have.
4. Action. We put the plan into action. We monitor and adjust when needed and we’ll meet as often as we need to.
